Enjoy and revel in the great outdoors when you stay at Story Pines Inn. We are conveniently located between Sheridan and Buffalo, Wyoming. Take a short day trip into the mountains via HWY 16 (through Buffalo) or HWY 14 (north of Sheridan). Each holds treasures of their own. Some of our favorites are; Tie Hack Reservoir, Crazy Woman Canyon, Shell Falls, and the Medicine Wheel.

My recent stay at Story Pines Inn was lovely! The room was very comfortable and I appreciated the friendly service.
The grassy outdoor space was also welcoming - with picnic tables & swings - perfect for relaxing.

This is my favorite motel I've stayed and I've stayed in many across the country. The rooms are always clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and the owners are an amazing couple. Very peaceful.

This little gem is absolutely delightful. The rooms are well appointed and every detail is thoughtfully provided. The outdoor patio with tables, firepit and gas grill are well protected...we enjoyed meals and relaxing there as well. The grass area is large and lush. We enjoyed our time there and the many activities in the area. Fort Phil Kearney, Fetterman Battlefield, Wagon Box Battlefield, Brinton Museum and Sheridan.
All conveniently located.
